José was born in El Salvador and immigrated to America at a young age. As a kid growing up in Columbia Heights, he developed a strong work ethic. He began at Fort Myer Construction as a laborer and over the past seven years, he has risen up the ranks to become an Incident Investigator. In this position, he helps make job sites safer for team members and the general public. With everything he is learning, and the doors opening for him by working at this company, José hopes he can own his own company one day.
