About the event

Andrea Lennon is currently the Senior Director of the Office of Contracts and Procurement Services for the Washington Convention and Sports Authority t/a Events DC. In this role, she manages the cradle to grave procurement and contract lifecycle functions while managing the day-to-day operations of the procurement and contract administration group and creating a team environment. She is responsible for ensuring all new contracts, renewals/invoices, and solicitations are accurate, in compliance with company policy, statutory regulations, and generated timely within the required internal and external deadlines. 


Lennon has more than 15 years of experience in procurement, contracts, purchasing and planning in both the public and private sectors. She holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Arcadia University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing from Norfolk State University. She is also a Certified Purchasing Professional and serves and volunteers in several community-service based organizations.
