Asphalt Paving

Fort Myer is one of the area's leaders in asphalt paving, handling jobs large and small - from multi-lane highways and large parking lots to bicycle paths and driveways. Fort Myer also specializes in milling, asphalt overlays, crack sealing, surface coating, and striping. Fort Myer sources all of its asphalt from its own plants.

Concrete Paving

Since 1972 few companies in the DC Metro area have completed more concrete site work than Fort Myer. Fort Myer's extensive experience in concrete paving produces high-quality, enduring concrete repairs and new construction of concrete roads, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, driveways and aprons, stairways, handicap ramps, and parking lots.

Architectural Paving

Fort Myer's employs skilled artisans and craftsmen to create a distinctive effect where architectural paving is desired. Fort Myer has vast experience with cobblestone, London pavers, concrete and granite unit pavers, exposed aggregate concrete, brick pavers, and granite curbing.

Electrical

Since 1999, Fort Myer's electrical division has augmented its roadway construction projects with installation, construction, and maintenance of a variety of electrical wiring and support systems, including traffic signals, streetlights, communication cable and cabinets, CCTV, microwave detection, overhead lane control signage, variable message boards, intelligent transportation devices, conduits, manholes, poles, and general copper, coaxial, electronic, and fiber optic wiring. Fort Myer's electrical division is approved to install utility services for both PEPCO and Virginia Power.

Utilities

Many projects require surface and sub-surface water management that meets government guidelines for protecting the environment. Fort Myer is one of the few area companies with the experience to handle even the most complicated repair and construction of storm drains, sanitary sewers, water mains, utility duct banks, water retention systems, oil, grit and water separation systems, and under drain systems.
