Myer Construction Corporation (FMCC) - a large
Washington D.C. based general contractor focusing on
streets, highways, bridges, utilities, streetscapes,
paving, site work, roadway electrical systems and
related roadway construction - is looking for motivated
and qualified Project Managers and Project Engineers.
As FMCC continues to grow and expand into major,
Design-Build and innovative projects, there is an
important role for diversified and energetic
professionals to join the FMCC team supporting major
projects.
Project Managers should have 8+ years of experience
in structural or roadway horizontal construction and a
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction
Management. Previous project management experience is
required including contract and financial management,
management of subcontractors, project scheduling, and
operational skills. Candidates should possess strong
communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, and
the ability to proactively build relationships with
field staff and Clients.
Senior Project Engineers should have 4+ years of
construction or engineering experience on structural,
roadway or commercial horizontal projects and a
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction
Management with excellent computer, communication,
teamwork and interpersonal skills, as well as the desire
to learn and growth potential to become a Project
Manager. Senior Project Engineers will be expected to
perform both field and office tasks. Project
scheduling and invoicing experience is a plus.
Entry
Level Project Engineers should have a Bachelor’s
Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
with excellent computer, communication and interpersonal
skills, as well as the desire to learn, the ability to
work productively as a team member, and growth potential
to become a Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager.
Entry-level Project Engineers will be expected to
perform both field and office tasks.
